1A: Journey to a New Degree Audit Tool: A Collaborative Approach

Discover Harvard's initiative to improve degree audit systems at Harvard College and Harvard Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. This presentation will highlight our collaboration between the Registrar's Office, IT department, and academic divisions to enhance the current degree audit systems. You'll learn about our motivation to create a more user-friendly system, our stakeholder engagement process, and insights gained from surveying students and staff, as well as consulting with other institutions. We will present key findings and discuss the feasibility of upgrading the current tool to better meet our needs. Join us for a discussion and Q&A to explore stakeholder involvement, integration challenges, and lessons learned.

1B: The CourseLeaf Inclusive Curriculum Tool & Yale: A Case Study

The CourseLeaf Inclusive Curriculum Tool helps campuses promote student belonging through normalizing the use of inclusive language in course titles and descriptions. Learn how Yale has implemented and leveraged this tool to maximize its value on campus. This session will introduce the features and benefits of the tool and present Yale’s implementation journey.
